Can you afford credit card consolidations?

Credit card consolidations can be made easy with balance transfer credit cards, but not everybody can afford to use them. When using balance transfer credit cards with an interest free period, you will often find that you are unable to pay off any new expenditure until the transferred balances are paid off. This can make credit card consolidations especially difficult for some people, as people in credit card debt have generally come to rely on the presence of a line of credit. If you do not choose the right credit card and manage your budget so that you do not need credit, then you could find you are unable to effectively benefit from credit card consolidations.
